Buenos Aires (Agenzia Fides) – “To establish a joint network throughout the country and establish common priorities for educational pastoral care in schools, based on listening to different realities” was the objective that the Superior Council of Catholic Education (Consudec) proposed during a recent National Meeting on Educational Pastoral Care, which brought together educators from more than 40 dioceses and religious congregations in the country.
The theme “Integrating the language of the head, the heart, and the hands” guided the participants' reflection, who delved into the centrality of Jesus' proclamation, the evangelizing identity, ongoing formation in educational pastoral care, organization, and networking. These priorities were adopted as lines of action to strengthen the evangelizing identity and mission in schools and dioceses.
