Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On June 2, 2023, Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, appointed Father Tete Remis, SVD, as National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Hungary for a five-year term.
Father Remis, 44 years old, ordained 11 years ago, is of Indian origin. Ordained in India, he was in the parish (2013-2014), chaplain in a school (2014-16), Prefect in the house of formation (2016-2019), provincial superior in Hungary (2019-2023).
