EUROPE/POLAND - Holy Childhood Association of the Archdiocese of Czestochowa on pilgrimage to Church of St. James for missionary sending

Czestochowa (Agenzia Fides) – Next Saturday, December 19, the Pontifical Holy Childhood Association of the Archdiocese of Czestochowa has promoted a pilgrimage to St. James Church where the material prepared for missionary animation of this time period will be presented and where a missionary sending of children and youth will be held. "We want children and young people to give new spiritual strength to our missionary work in the Archdiocese,” Fr. Jacek Gancarek, Diocesan Director of the PMS in Czestochowa, told Fides. Children and young people are also the hope of our Church of Czestochowa."
All the leaders of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) of the Archdiocese will participate, along with the Archdiocesan Director, Fr. Jacek Gancarek. They have especially invited the various missionary groups of young children, missionary volunteers, youth leaders, Rosary groups, the “Militia Immaculatae,” and PMS groups of different parishes and schools of the Archdiocese of Czestochowa. The Holy Mass will be presided over by Bishop Antoni Dlugosz, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Czestochowa. On the occasion of the pilgrimage the new material prepared for the animation will be presented, in particular the missionary catechesis on the Church in Pakistan and the situation of children in the Asian country.
