Beijing ( Fides Service) - According to Fides sources it started raining this morning in Beijing and people in the Holy Saviour Church to attend a Requiem Mass for the Pope began to say: “Even the skies are weeping for our beloved Pope”. Besides the usual Mass for Pop John Paul II, the parish is spiritually united with the faithful taking part in the funeral in St Peter’s in Rome to accompany the Pope on his last earthly journey. During his homily the priest said: “Let us pray to the Holy Father to intercede that relations between China and the Holy See may be re-established as soon as possible.”(Agenzia Fides 08/04/2005 Righe: 15 Parole: 144)
