Prague (Agenzia Fides) - On the occasion of World Mission Day, the National Directorate of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in the Czech Republic, has launched the initiative to "build a missionary bridge of prayer". According to information sent to Fides Agency, on the eve of World Mission Day, therefore on Saturday evening, October 18 at 9pm, all those who wish to join the initiative are invited to gather in church or in their own homes and light a candle and pray for the missions, for missionaries, for the poor, for those who suffer, so that the joy of the Gospel will spread in the world. The prayer of the missionary Rosary is in particular suggested. Also in view of World Mission Day, the PMS have also made a new video. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 16/10/2014)
