Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On December 6, 2023, Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, appointed Rector of the interdiocesan Seminary of the "Holy Cross" in the diocese of Auckland (New Zealand), Rev. David Dowling was born April 3, 1965 and was ordained a priest on September 1, 2007 for the clergy of the Archdiocese of Wellington. He holds a bachelor's degree in theology from Sidney College of Divinity and has served as Vice Parish Priest, parish priest in three parishes and moderator in three others.
