AFRICA/EGYPT - The Coptic Church will support the initiatives of President al-Sisi in favor of youth employment

Cairo (Agenzia Fides) - The Coptic Church supports the initiatives in favor of youth employment that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi explained in his speech to the Assembly of the United Nations. The support of the Coptic Church regarding the mobilization announced by the President to combat youth unemployment and the consequent flight of young people from the Country, was expressed by Coptic Orthodox Bishop Marcos, titular of the diocese of Shubra al-Khaimah, who also expressed the full availability of the Coptic Church to participate effectively in all the initiatives for young people and the poor, also perceived as a useful tool both to combat religious fanaticism and the spread of models of life conformed to practical atheism.
