According to information sent to Agenzia Fides, on the day of the liturgical feast of the Apostles Simon and Jude, October 28, the Diocese of San Yuan in Shaan Xi Province, in mainland China, received the gift of four new priests, "who responded to the call of Jesus to share his pastoral and missionary mission at the service of the Church". There were also hundreds of religious women from different congregations: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the Child Jesus, Dominicans.
On the same day two deacons were ordained in the Diocese of Han Dan (Yong Nian) in He Bei Province. During the homily, the diocesan Vicar thanked in particular the families of the new deacons, because "they took care of the vocation and the Christian faith of their children.
