Nuevo Laredo (Agenzia Fides) - 44 people, including children and adults have benefited from free surgeries for cleft lip by the System of Integral Development of the Family (DIF) - Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. For the second consecutive year, the Group Renacer A.C. provided a team of five maxillofacial surgeons. Twenty-two free operations were carried out at the centers of the Red Cross; in addition 22 children were introduced in a program of speech therapy. Parents felt that this contribution to the community is very useful for people with few economic resources and provides opportunities for children to a better quality of life.
