Lima (Agenzia Fides) - To arouse in children a universal missionary awareness, encouraging them to share their faith, love, hope and material goods with the poor and abandoned children in the world: this is the aim of the "Day of the Holy Childhood Association 2012", that the Catholic Church in Peru celebrates tomorrow, May 27, on Pentecost Sunday, with the slogan" Feel Jesus in your heart ... proclaim him with joy."
The celebration, organized in all the dioceses by the Pontifical Mission Societies, involve over 5,000 children and focuses on missionary animation in parishes. In Lima, for the celebration, hundreds of children in Catholic schools animate the "Festival of Holy Childhood Association" with songs, games, exhibitions of work and moments of prayer. Everywhere a fundraiser for Holy Childhood Association will be promoted, which will take place in schools and educational institutions.
