Wednesday, 7 March 2012

London (Agenzia Fides) - "These are the hands, praising your life. Peace is the star that guides our hearts to you. Your blood cries out": are words of the song "Blood cries out", composed by the British pop music group "Ooberfuse" and dedicated to Shahbaz Bhatti, the Catholic Pakistani minister for religious minorities, killed a year ago in Islamabad.
The "British Pakistani Christians Association" organized on 10 March in London a demonstration in memory of Shahbaz Bhatti, with the participation of political and religious leaders. The event will reach "Downing Street" (home of the British Prime Minister) and will conclude with a concert in Trafalgar Square. Among several performances, the group "Ooberfuse" will play at the concert and will sing the song "Blood cries out", dedicated to Bhatti.
