The future of humanity is built in the family! The Bishops of Paraguay deliver this pastoral letter on f the family to priests, deacons, religious, lay faithful and all people of good will".
The document deals with reflection, analysis, doctrinal foundation, call to action, and proposes to offer the thought of Bishops on the reality that affects and involves families in Paraguay in order to provide guidance to all members of the Catholic Church in the country, to the people who desire the common good, in the important and necessary work of building strong families, based on marriage between a man and a woman, open to life.
Mgr. Martinez said that this pastoral letter comes from the Bishops’ heart, as an expression of his paternal solicitude for the fundamental cell of society, which is the family. He concluded by saying: "Only with intact strong and happy families, one can think of rebuilding the social fabric and national morale, which in turn, will design and build the new Paraguay that we all want." The Bishops of Paraguay have asked for this pastoral letter to be read, viewed, processed and translated into concrete actions in all pastoral ecclesial communities of the nation.
