Thursday, 3 November 2011

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - At the end of the general audience on Wednesday, November 2, the Holy Father Benedict XVI delivered this appeal on the eve of the G-20 summit: “The 3rd and 4th of November - tomorrow and the day after tomorrow - the heads of State or government of the G20 will gather in Cannes to discuss the main problems connected with the global economy. I hope that the meeting will help to overcome the difficulties that, worldwide, hinder the promotion of a truly humane and complete development.” (SL) (Agenzia Fides 03/11/2011)
