VATICAN - The professor of theology, real educator: course for theologians at ICMA

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - As part of its specific commitment to "train the educators", the ICMA (International Centre for Missionary Animation) is organizing a French language course for theologians from 19 to 30 September in Rome, on the theme "Witness to faith, the professor of theology is a real educator, decisive for the development of the priest's personality". The course will begin with a half-day retreat and continue with a series of reports, testimonies and group work that will touch various aspects of the teaching of theology and the figure of the professor of this discipline. The twenty participants are from different French speaking countries-Africa and Asia. The speakers include, in addition to a French team, Fr. Vito del Prete, Secretary General of the Pontifical Missionary Union, Mgr. Jan Dumon, Secretary General of the Pontifical Society of St. Peter the Apostle; His Exc.Mgr. Savio Hon Tai-Fai, Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.
