Huancayo (Agenzia Fides) - To celebrate the Day of Missionary Childhood in Huancayo, on Sunday, May 29 there will be a pilgrimage for children at Cerrito de la Libertad, three miles east of the city. This manifestation of the small missionaries will begin at 8 in the atrium of the Cathedral and will be chaired by the Archbishop of Huancayo, Mgr.Pedro Barreto Jimeno, SJ. In the note sent to Fides by the Peruvian Bishops' Conference it says that during the journey the children of the parishes and educational institutions, will pray the Rosary for peace in the world and the country, as Sister Angelina Abia, Director of the Pontifical Missionaries in Huancayo reports. The slogan proposed will be: "Lord, open my heart to the Gospel. I want to proclaim you. " At the end of the pilgrimage Mgr.
