Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Cardinal Ivan Dias Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, on 20 June 2006, appointed Rector of Daegu Inter-Diocesan Seminary (Korea) Rev. Luc Son Sang O, of the diocesan clergy of Daegu.
The new Rector was born in 1943. He studied for the priesthood at Seoul Major Seminary (1962/1970). He was ordained a priest in 1970. He went for further studies to the Institut Catholique de Paris (1973/76). He has been Professor at Daegu Seminary, Parish priest at Daegu cathedral, and Director and then Rector ad interim at Daegu Seminary. (S.L.) (Agenzia Fides 6/9/2006 - righe 8, parole 103)
