Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On June 3, 2024, Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, appointed Father Angelo Florentino Fernandes Rodrigues, 33, of the clergy of the Diocese of Santiago de Cape Verde.
Since his priestly ordination on July 3, 2022, he was parish vicar in the parish of Ilha de Fogo in São Filipe and since September 2023 he has been parish priest of the same parish. Since 2023 he has also been a member of the Economic Council of the Diocese. He completed his theological studies at the Alberoni college in Piacenza. He holds a licentiate in Economics and Management in the field of development and cooperation projects, obtained at Jean Piaget in Praia, Cape Verde, in 2013. (EG) (Agenzia Fides, 14/6/2024)
