VATICAN - Holy Childhood Society: four online meetings on "The Sacraments of Christian Initiation and the Mission of Children"

Rome (Agenzia Fides) - Four virtual meetings in different languages, dedicated to the theme "The Sacraments of Christian Initiation and the Mission of Children". This is the initiative proposed in these first days of May by the International Secretariat of the Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood, in the context of the 180th Anniversary of the foundation of the Society.
The first meeting of the series of events will take place today, Tuesday, May 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. Rome time. It will be held in Spanish and Portuguese, and will have as its main speaker Father Manuel Jiménez, from the Archdiocese of Bogota (Colombia).
The second meeting will be held in Italian starting at 9:30 a.m. (Rome time) on Wednesday, May 3, and will have Sister Monika Juszka RMI, National Secretary of the Pontifical Mission Societies (POM) of Poland, as the keynote speaker. On Thursday, May 4, starting at 9:00 a.m. (according to Malian time zone), the third meeting will be held in French and will begin with the presentation by Abbé Marcel Somboro, Head of Formation of the Diocese of Mopti (Mali).
The final meeting, scheduled for Friday, May 5, starting at 2:30 p.m. Indian time, will be held in English and will feature Sister Margarita Louis Dias, of the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo (Bengaluru, India) as speaker.
