AMERICA/CHILE - Another church burned in Araucania

Temuco (Agenzia Fides) - Fire was set to a church in the town of Collipulli, in the region of La Araucania in the early hours of yesterday Tuesday. The fact occurred around 5 in the rural area of La Batalla.
According to information provided by the local press, three units of firefighters arrived to control the emergency. So far the details of the attack are unknown.
Only a few days ago there were other arson attacks in the area where pamphlets were found alluding to the Mapuche cause and the refusal to dialogue with the government (see Fides 05/08/2016). (CE) (Agenzia Fides, 10/08/2016)
