Brussels (Agenzia Fides) - The COMECE Spring Plenary Assembly opens on Wednesday 18 March. The COMECE Bishops from all over Europe will analyse the principal policy areas on which the Commission sets out to work. They will also proceed internally to the election of a new Standing Committee.
COMECE is the Commission of the Bishops' Conferences of the European Community. It is composed of Bishops-delegate from the 27 Bishops' Conferences of the European Union and has a permanent secretariat in Brussels. The assembly will take place until March 20. (CE) (Agenzia Fides 14/03/2015)
