Zagreb (Agenzia Fides) - The European Meeting of National Directors of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) will be held in Croatia, in Luznica, from 1 to 5 March, and will focus on several hot topics concerning the Church's missionary activity in Europe and the world. Three reference points for reflection: the 50th anniversary of the Decree on the Missionary Activity of the Church "Ad Gentes"; the Apostolic Exhortation "Evangelii nuntiandi" of Blessed Pope Paul VI and Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation "Evangelii gaudium".
According to information sent to Agenzia Fides, during their stay in Croatia, the European Directors of the PMS will have the opportunity to experience the richness of living faith that animates the parishes of the Archdiocese of Zagreb and to have a direct witness of the love of Croatian believers for missions and missionaries. The meeting will also be a special opportunity to get to know the life of the Blessed Aloysius Stepinac, who was Archbishop of Zagreb from 1937 to 1960. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 25/02/2015)
