Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On 4 November 2014 the Holy Father accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the diocese of Lugazi (Uganda) by His Exc. Mgr. Ssekamanya Matthias, in accordance with canon 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. The Holy Father appointed His Exc. Mgr. Christopher Kakooza, Titular Bishop of Houses of Numidia and Auxiliary of the Archdiocese of Kampala as Bishop of Lugazi (Uganda). (SL) (Agenzia Fides 04/11/2014)
