Vatican City (Fides Service) - On 4 December 2004, the Holy Father Pope John Paul II accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the diocese of Hsinchu (Taiwan), presented by Bishop Lucas Liu Hsien-tang, in conformity with the Code of Canon Law, can. 401 § 1.
