Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – The Holy Father Benedict XVI, on October 1, 2010, accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Apostolic Vicariate of Phnom-Penh (Cambodia), presented by Archbishop Emile Destombes, MEP, in conformity with Canon 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. He is succeeded by Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler, MEP, Coadjutor of the same Apostolic Vicariate. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 10/02/2010)
