Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on August 28, 2010, appointed as Rector of the Interdiocesan Propedeutic Seminary of Ouesso (Congo), Fr. Christian Rock Onésine Milandou, of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Brazzaville.
The new Rector was born December 17, 1972 in Brazzaville and was ordained a priest in 2004. He studied theology in Kinshasa, to obtain the licentiate. After ordination, he was secretary to the Diocesan Pastoral Ministry Office (2004-2007), Rector of the Minor Seminary of the Archdiocese (2005-2007), also dedicating his time to assisting street children. From 2007 to 2009, he attended a formator's course in Canada, sent by the Bishops' Conference. Since 2009, he has served as interim rector of the Propedeutic Seminary of Ouesso.
