Rome (Agenzia Fides) - Registration has begun for students interested in the 2010-2011 edition of a I level Master Degree in Social Communications in Intercultural and Missionary contexts. The course, offered by the Pontifical Urban University, is especially suited for young lay men and women or religious who intend to commit themselves to mission and interreligious dialogue in multicultural environments. The Master Degree aims to form qualified professionals in the world of social communications and media. The goal is to offer students the theoretic, ethic, socio-anthropological and ecclesial knowledge necessary for setting up and managing a means of mass communication. At the same time the course will offer practical expertise regarding the production, construction and financial management of a Web Page, a Periodical, a Network, a Press Office, a Radio or TV programme, a documentary video, in intercultural contexts of a scarcity of resources and a digital divide.
