Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, has convoked a Second Special Assembly of the Synod of Bishops for Africa to be held in the Vatican 4 - 25 October 2009 on the following theme: “The Church in Africa at the service of reconciliation, justice and peace”.
