Tai Yuan (Agenzia Fides) - “Jesus teaching, Christian values help us to life a happy family life and be witnesses of a lived Gospel”. This emerged from a three day Meeting for Faith and Life Sharing organised by Feng Xi parish in the diocese of Tai Yuan province of Shan Xi, in collaboration with the Church Movement Emmanuel. Taking advantage of a long May 1st holiday twenty three families from France, from the diocese of Hu He Hao Te in the province of Inner Mongolia, from the diocese of Jin Chen and the diocese of Tai Yuan, took part in the meeting which they said was a great success. The local Bishop presided the opening Mass and congratulated the parish for organising the "important event".
A couple who preferred to attend the meeting rather than go away on holiday said, “we now realise how important it is to livee family life as authentic Christians. Being open heart to heart as husband and wife, sharing joys and sorrows, forgiving and accepting one another in the love of God, are all attitudes with strengthen a couple and help solve concrete difficulties such as the education of the children, relations with the rest of the family …We learned to live these principles from the experience of other couples who were far more eloquent and convincing than books ”.
