Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI on 4 May 2007 accepted the resignation of the pastoral government of the diocese of Christchurch (New Zealand) presented by Bishop John Jerome Cunneen, in conformity with the Code of Canon Law, can. 401 § 1.
