Lima (Fides Service) – “The Holy Rosary and Mission” is the theme of a course in Missionary Spirituality and Formation which will be held 5-7 November in Lima at the Auditorium of the Conference of Major Superiors in Peru. According to a press statement issued by the Peruvian Catholic Bishops’ Conference the objective of the course is to study the contemplative dimension of mission following in the footsteps of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Course, organised by the National Mission Centre, is promoted by the Bishops’ Conference. Participants will focus reflection on the following subjects: The Figure of Mary in other religions, Fr Tomas Kraft; The Rosary effective means of evangelisation, Fr Jaime Phalan; The presence of Mary and the Rosary in missionary work testimony by Maria Dolores Velasco.
