Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI on 18 November accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the diocese of Belize City-Belmopan (Belize), presented by Bishop Osmond Peter Martin in conformity with the Code of Canon Law, canon 401 § 1. The Holy Father appointed as Bishop of Belize City-Belmopan (Belize) Bishop Dorick McGowan Wright, until now titular Bishop of Timida Regia and Auxiliary of Belize City-Belmopan diocese. (S.L.)
