Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On March 16, 2023, Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, appointed Rev Sac. Justin Georges Ebengue as Rector of the "Santa Maria della Speranza" interdiocesan Seminary. The new Rector of the clergy of Batouri, 52 years of age and 17 of priesthood, after the propaedeutic Seminary of Saint John the Baptist of Doumé (1997-198), obtained a licentiate in Philosophy and Theology and subsequently that in Canon law at the Catholic University of Central Africa in Yaoundé (2008-2011).
Since his ordination he has held the following offices: parish vicar, parish administrator, parish priest, rector of the Minor Seminary, Chancellor of the diocese, judicial vicar of the diocese, secretary of the 2nd diocesan synod, diocesan administrator (2017-2018).
He is currently Vicar General of the Diocese, Coordinator of the Pastoral Office, Rector of the Cathedral and Chaplain of the Bary Catholic College. (EG) (Agenzia Fides 09/29/203)
