Beijing (Agenzia Fides) - The proclamation of the Gospel in everyday life includes all the baptized, priests, religious and lay people, and is also expressed in the practice of charity for the benefit of all fellow citizens. This was the conclusion reached by the participants of the day of reflection and prayer, which brought together priests, religious and lay people from the Catholic community of Jiangxi to discuss and formulate some key points of the pastoral journey for the current year.
A total of 11 priests, nuns, seminarians and lay people took part in the meeting last February 24th. Among the priorities on which they want to focus their energies in pastoral work is the urgent need to ensure a good spiritual and doctrinal formation of the godparents of the catechumens who will be baptized at Easter, the promotion of ecclesiastical Passion in all the baptized and their active participation in charitable works in view of the synodal process of the universal Church.
