Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On April 1, 2022, Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed rev. Francis Scaria, of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Bhopal as Rector of the "Khrist Premalaya Regional Theologate Seminary" in the Archdiocese of Bhopal (India).
The new Rector was born on February 27, 1965 and was ordained a priest on January 8, 1990. He holds a doctorate in dogmatic theology at the Pontifical Urbaniana University (1997). He was Assistant parish priest, Parish priest, Vice rector of the minor Seminary, Professor, Director of the Base Communities, Chancellor and Vicar general of the Archdiocese of Bhopal.
