AFRICA/CAMEROON - Appointment of the Rector of the "Saint Paul VI" preparatory Seminary in Mbanga

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On June 10, 2021 Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed Rev. Antoine- Marie Nsoumpe Mboube, of the clergy of Nkongsamba as Rector of the "Saint Paul VI" interdiocesan preparatory Seminary in Mbanga, Cameroon.
The new Rector is 49 years old and has been a priest for 14. He holds a Licentiate in philosophy at the St. Thomas Aquina's major Seminary in Bambui, and studied theology at the Société St Jean-Marie Vianney Seminary, in Ars, in France. Also in France, in Toulouse, he obtained a Licentiate in canon Law. After his ordination he was Parish priest in various communities, Dean of the Saint Thomas College, episcopal Vicar for families. Since 2019 he has been a teacher and temporary head of the Seminary of which he has been appointed Rector. (SL) (Agenzia Fides, 4/11/2021)
