Buenos Aires (Agenzia Fides) - “The Word is a gift and, at the same time, a commitment entrusted to the pastors and faithful of a community. The book of the Bible is the guide, and expresses the centrality of the message that pushes us to work for the growth of the Faith. Collaborating so that everyone receives this book that contains the word of God is everyone's commitment”. This is the proposal of the FE Program, of the Episcopal Commission for the Evangelizing Mission of the Church, of the Argentine Episcopal Conference, presenting the #RegalaUnaBiblia campaign which urges to fill the lives of children, men and women of the community of the parish of Our Lady of Peace and St. Francis of Assisi.
The FE Program was born from the economic reform of the Argentine Bishops' Conference, with the aim of empowering Catholics to support the mission of the Church throughout the country.
“Evangelizing is, above all, accompanying people in their vital needs. Spirituality nourishes the soul for the great challenges of life. Giving a Bible as a gift means making the hearts of men and women grow to form a community of brothers. Giving a Bible is evangelizing”. (SL) (Agenzia Fides, 5/10/2021)
