Caracas (Agenzia Fides) - The Venezuelan Episcopal Conference (CEV) shares a series of prayer and reflection resources so that the faithful can follow the celebrations of Holy Week from home, in times of social isolation. According to the note sent to Agenzia Fides, the first resource presented by CEV is called "Family celebration of Holy Days" and invites to live Holy Week as a domestic Church. Likewise, it also presents the material for the "Celebration in honor of the Nazarene", a strong Venezuelan tradition that takes place on Holy Wednesday. The various departments of the Permanent Secretariat of the Venezuelan Episcopate have prepared material in order to carry out activities that promote the celebration of each Holy Day, in communion with the celebration of the universal Church.
The Department of Biblical Pastoral Animation offers a compendium of reflections from the Gospels to live the Holy Days at home. The Department for adolescence and youth, promotes the "Youth Pastoral Care of Venezuela, the celebration of Easter" with a series of activities for each day, which invite to personal reflection and family experience, proposing the home, the hearth as "mission land". At the same time it shares the material for the celebration of the XXXV World Youth Day on Palm Sunday and the Message of Pope Francis for this day.
All the material can be downloaded from the CEV website or from the CEV Facebook page. (CE) (Agenzia Fides, 8/4/2020)
