Rome (Agenzia Fides) - In the Extraordinary Missionary Month a new path of formation and missionary spirituality is underway for young people aged 18 to 35, promoted by the Comboni family. To make concrete experience of faith, make new friends, deepen one’s knowledge regarding missionary issues and participate in summer volunteer camps, in Italy and abroad: these are the opportunities that, from Sunday 27 October, will be offered to all young people from Ymc, "Young Missionary Commitment".
There will be nine stages of the new path entitled #DaiSegniDiVita, which will be held one Sunday a month, from 10am to 6pm in Rome, at the Generalate of the Comboni Missionaries, in Via Luigi Lilio 80. The theme of the meetings will be testimonies of life, the shared reading of the Word of God and listening to witnesses on some of today's problems. The participation of qualified experts and meetings with local realities is expected. The Comboni presence will be ensured by the speeches of Fr. Giulio Albanese, director of Peoples and Mission, and of Sr. Gabriella Bottani, international coordinator of the network against the Talitha Kum trafficking. The first appointment on October 27th will be dedicated to Brazil and the Amazon and wil allow people to discover the reality of this land and its spiritual richness. (S.L.)
