Santa Cruz (Agenzia Fides) - The team of Young Missionaries of the Archdiocese of Santa Cruz in Bolivia, yesterday launched the appeal to all young people interested in participating in the Young Mission ("Mision Joven") which will take place in the Parish of Nostra Lady of the Rosary, 27 October, with the aim of living with joy the theme of World Mission Sunday: "Baptized and sent".
The Archdiocese has prepared a calendar of meetings for young people: 28 September, 5, 12 and 19 October there will be preparation and training workshops. The "Mision Joven" will take place on 27 October with all the young people and faithful of the archdiocese committed to carrying out missionary activities. The themes of the formation meetings are: the Extraordinary Missionary Month (28/9), Catechesis on Baptism (5/10), Missionary Communion (12/10), Missionary Profile (19/10).
We expect to live the Extraordinary Missionary Month with great enthusiasm among the young and all the faithful because Bolivia still feels the effect of the CAM 5 days, which left a Bolivian Church renewed in the mission. The continental missionary event influenced not only those who were able to attend the meetings, but all the small communities that welcomed the participants. It was the first Continental Missionary Meeting where the participants shared the life of the families of the community of Santa Cruz and other cities in Bolivia. (CE) (Agenzia Fides, 26/9/2019)
