Anjara (Agenzia Fides) – As from yesterday the House of the Virgin Mary of Hope in Anjara, created to welcome and care for orphaned children and young people or those who come from problematic family situations, can take advantage of a new minibus for its activities. The new means of transport to the Catholic institution was donated by King Abdallah II of Jordan. The House, promoted and managed by priests and nuns of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word, is one of the 25 bodies - social solidarity bodies, assistance groups for the elderly and disabled, charitable organizations of civil society - to which the Court committee, for the implementation of the initiatives desired by the Sovereign, has assigned a means of collective transport.
Anjara is a town of about 20 thousand inhabitants located in the governorate of Ajlun, in northern Jordan. The new house of the "Virgin Mary Mother of Hope" was inaugurated in 2017, thanks also to the financial support of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher. (GV) (Agenzia Fides, 20/9/2019)
