Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On August 5, 2017 the Holy Father accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Tambacounda, Senegal, presented by His Exc. Mgr. Jean-Noel Diouf, and has appointed His Exc. Mgr. Jean-Pierre Bassène, Bishop of Kolda, as Apostolic Administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of Tambacounda.
