Caracas (Agenzia Fides) - The Red de Casas Don Bosco, together with the Municipality Council for Children and Adolescent's Rights in Chacao, have created the BoscoBús program, which takes care of children who live on the street and offers them medical care, healthcare, education as well as psychological support. The mobile unit, consisting of a bathroom, a multipurpose room, kitchen and nursing home, carries out four stops in some parts of Caracas where street educators and social workers work with the children to reintegrate them into society. The BoscoBús program was born in 2016 but started to take off since May this year. So far it has assisted 86 children. (AP) (Agenzia Fides, 17/7/2017)
