AMERICA/ARGENTINA - Almost six million children and teenagers live in extreme poverty

Buenos Aires (Agenzia Fides) - A study carried out by the Participatory Research Center for Economic and Social Policy (Cippes) shows that half of the children and teenagers in the country live below the poverty line. Cippes highlights that 46 children out of 100, between 0 to 17 years of age suffer from this stigma. In total, almost six million out of 13 million and a half of children and teenagers in the country. In addition, 10.07% of children in Argentina live in a state of extreme poverty.
