Sullana (Agenzia Fides) - The Yachay National Program of the Peruvian Ministry for Women and Vulnerable Populations, in agreement with the Municipality of Sullana, has distributed a total of 50 school kits and food to working children and teenagers. Among the goals of this Social Program there is the desire to ensure a dignified school year start-up, to allow children and teenagers to achieve full development and prevent their exposure to risky situations. "We want to ensure that the children start the school year without the excuse that they do not have the economic resources to buy the necessary material, because education is very important for social development", said a coordinator of the Yachay Program to Fides.
