Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On February 1, 2017, Cardinal Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed rev. Mark Olivieri, of the archdiocesan clergy of Monaco as National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in the Principality of Monaco for five years (2017-2022).
The new National Director is a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of Monaco. He is 63 years old, was born on June 8, 1953. He was ordained a deacon on 28 November 2010. Since 2013 he has carried out his diaconal ministry in the parish of Saint Martin-Sacré Coeur. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 29/03/2017)
