Sydney (Agenzia Fides) - "Fill your senses with the sights, sounds and smells of Cambodia, with its changing landscapes and colourful culture cycling along the dusty roads of the Mekong delta. And think if this would help improve the lives of Cambodian children through education". The Ride to Reach Out initiative promoted by Catholic Mission Australia offers its benefactors the opportunity to make this happen. The challenge, in collaboration with Inspired Adventures, allows participants to take a bike trip from Siem Reap to the capital Phnom Penh. In the course of the adventure cyclists will have the possibility to see firsthand the educational projects for children, supported by Catholic Mission and contributions from participants in the Ride to Reach Out.
Among other attractions there is also the ancient Angkor Wat, the cruise on the waters of Lake Tonle Sap and adventure in the Cambodian temples. "It is an unforgettable experience", said Father Brian Lucas, National Director of Catholic Mission, in the statement sent to Agenzia Fides. "Ride to Reach Out offers participants a unique opportunity to challenge themselves physically and at the same time raise funds for our important work", he added.Ride to Reach Out will be held from November 15 to 26, 2017.
