Caracas (Agenzia Fides) - The first meeting between the opposition and the government representatives to determine how to continue dialogue and unblock the serious situation in which the country finds itself will take place on 30 October on the island of Margarita in the Caribbean Sea, in the northeast off the Venezuelan coast.
Cardinal Jorge Urosa Savino, Archbishop of Caracas, speaking with journalists yesterday, when the date of the meeting was officially announced, expressed himself as follows on the importance of this national dialogue: "This is a preliminary meeting to determine the themes and the timing of the dialogue, which we hope will go all the way, because it is important not to continue to have this situation of confrontation-clash between two sectors of the Venezuelan people".
