AMERICA/PANAMA - 500 young people at World Youth Day

Panama (Agenzia Fides) - The Catholic Church in Panama reported that an official delegation of 500 young people will participate in World Youth Day to be held in Krakow, Poland. Young people will be accompanied by Archbishop His Exc. Mgr. José Domingo Ulloa Mendieta, by Cardinal José Luis Lacunza, Bishop of David, and by the Bishop of Colón-Kuna Yala, Mgr. Manuel Ochogavia,
The youth event has also scheduled a time of preparation, to be held from 20 to 24 July 2016 in the various dioceses of Poland. Young people from around the world will participate in different activities within the Polish communities to experience the local life at a religious and cultural level. The delegation from Panama is about to leave for Poland. The XXXI World Youth Day, will take place from July 26 to 31 in Krakow, with the participation of Pope Francis and thousands of young people around the world.
