Luanda (Agenzia Fides) – Due to a yellow fever epidemic that is spreading in Luanda, the Bishop representative of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World (Tocoista), urged all Angolan families to adhere to the vaccination campaign, currently underway in the Country, against the pandemic. In the statement sent to Agenzia Fides, we read that, according to the religious leader, all families must follow the guidelines and instructions of the medical teams involved in the different municipalities, giving priority to children and citizens who have never been vaccinated. Moreover, referring to the appeal of the Ministry of Health in Angola, the Country needs to strengthen the information and give more responsibility to everyone to avoid the proliferation of mosquitoes and prevent not only yellow fever but also malaria, dengue, chikungunya and zica brought by the same carrier.
