Tian Jin (Agenzia Fides) - 641 newly baptized in 2015, together with the parish community of Xi Kai Cathedral of the Diocese of Tian Jin, opened the door of Mercy on December 13. According to information sent to Agenzia Fides, the day on which the "Doors of Mercy" in every diocese in the world were officially open, thus marking the beginning of the Jubilee Year of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis, Xi Kai Cathedral celebrated a solemn Mass for the event, inviting in particular those who were baptized in the year 2015. As a sign of communion with the Universal Church and following the teaching of the Pope, all the initiatives for the pastoral Year, characterized by the extraordinary Holy Year, were launched simultaneously on this date: the exhibition on Mercy, the formation of extraordinary ministers of communion, the service to the poor and needy on behalf of groups of Charity, the formation course on the reading of the Bull of the Jubilee Misericordiae vultus, aid to poor families, regular visits to the homes of the elderly ....
